This study compared the irritant and sensitizing potential of some surfactants.
None of the eight surfactants studied induced skin irritation. The most tolerated are two new anionic myths (sodium cocoil glutamate and sodium lauroyl-oat amino acids derived from oats)
and an amphoteric agent (cocoamphodiacetate disodium) (1).
