Franco Fabrizi (Francesco Fabbrizzi, Cortemaggiore, Italy 15 Feb 1916 – Cortemaggiore, Italy 18 Oct 1995).

Film Career. Fabrizi was a talented Italian actor known for his versatility and charisma. He appeared in a series of successful Italian films, including "I Vitelloni" (1953) directed by Federico Fellini and "Un americano a Roma" (1954).

Collaboration with Fellini. His collaboration with director Federico Fellini in "I Vitelloni" was particularly noteworthy and contributed to defining his film career. He played, in general, a nice, elegant guy, a bit of a cheater and unlucky in his work but very successful with the female gender.

Icon of Italian Cinema. Franco Fabrizi was an icon of Italian cinema in the 1950s and 1960s, with a talent that ranged from comedy to dramatic acting.

Personal Life. He was married to actress Lidyane Pitoeff, and the couple had a daughter.
