Calcium Glycerophosphate, in assessing the direct effects of ischemia on intestinal epithelium, is reported as a synergy with other therapies to preserve the integrity of the intestinal epithelium (1).

Excessive consumption of soft drinks and low pH drinks has increased significantly in recent years. In order to reduce the erosive potential of soft drinks, it has been proposed to supplement them with ions that are relevant for the formation of hydroxyapatite, such as calcium, phosphate and fluorine (2).

The addition of calcium glycerophosphate appears to be an alternative to reduce its corrosive potential (3).
