Plot
The Addams family is anything but a normal family. They are an eccentric, gothic family with a passion for all things macabre and bizarre. They live in a haunted house filled with traps and secret hiding places.

My opinion. For those who have seen the TV serial, this film is rather poor, although there is no shortage of comic situations. Unfortunately (for this film) the serial was so well done and funny that reconstructing the story and characters was an impossible task.
Pretty much hinging on the figure of Uncle Fester, it has a few flashes of hilarity and the scenes are well done.
Still, much, much better could have been done.
