Sanguiin H6 is a biflavonoid and is found in fruit, particularly in blackberry (Rubus fruticosus), in European raspberry (Rubus idaeus), in the American raspberry (Rubus strigosus), in the Chilean wild raspberry (Rubus geoides Sm.), In the black raspberry (Rubus occidentalis Litacz), in the Salvastrella (Sanguisorba officinalis L.) and in other fruits and plants belonging to the Rosaceae family.
 
It has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial properties and is studied for a possible use against tumors (1).
