Pandorum is a 2009 science fiction film directed by Christian Alvart. It is a space thriller that explores the themes of isolation, survival, and identity in a science fiction setting. 

Plot

The film is set aboard the spaceship Elysium, a colonial ship that embarked from Earth on a long-term mission to reach a habitable planet. However, something has gone terribly wrong. Two crew members, Lieutenant Payton (played by Dennis Quaid) and Sergeant Bower (played by Ben Foster), wake up from their hibernation pods with no memory of the mission or their identities.

The ship appears deserted and in a state of decay, and the two protagonists must explore it in search of answers. In the darkness and silence, they discover that the ship is infested with deadly alien creatures, and the crew has divided into warring factions.

As Bower and Payton progress through the ship, they uncover that the mission was intended to colonize a habitable planet, but something went awry during the journey. The film explores the themes of isolation, darkness, madness, and the struggle for survival in a confined space.
