NOVAMIN is a new biomaterial that disintegrates sodium and releases calcium and phosphate ions in contact with saliva. This temporarily increases the pH causing the precipitation of calcium and phosphate in the saliva to form a layer of calcium phosphate on the surface of the teeth (1).
Effective in remineralising teeth (2), reducing dentinal hypersensitivity (3).
