Strontium Chloride Hexahydrate is used in chemistry and medicine as a catalyst (1).

This chemical compound, widely used in toothpastes, has shown average (2) to good results for tests on dentinal sensitivity and adhesion strength of the Scotchbond adhesive system (3).
