Polyglyceryl-4 laurate is used to improve the solubility and penetration of microemulsions able to restore the barrier function in aged skin. Here used as an amphiphilic for the stratum corneum (1).
Polyglyceryl-10 laurate has been studied in a high energy preparation process for colloidal drug carrier systems and can offer for the treatment of sensitive substances (2).
