The addition of Mannitol to hyaluronic acid fillers is a valid and safe option to improve both the short and long term effects of hyaluronic acid (1).

Used, together with trehalose, in nanoparticles for the transport of medicines (2).

As an option in intradialytic hypotension which is a common complication at the beginning of hemodialysis therapy (3).
