Toyota C-HR How to activate the radar

The C-HR radar is activated by briefly pressing the shortest lever button under the right hand steering wheel.

Pressing for longer activates cruise control, automatic speed control.

This warning on the display indicates the activation of the radar:

C-HR warns that radar should only be used on highways and not in cities:

When the radar is activated, the C-HR automatically follows the car or motorcycle in front of it, adapting speed and braking:

If the vehicle in front brakes, the C-HR also brakes.

If the vehicle in front stops, the C-HR stops.

When the vehicle in front restarts, the signal appears on the display, but the accelerator must be pressed.

In 90° curves it is possible for the radar to disengage by emitting two beeps and a warning on the display.
