Robot's latest generation washer (2017), the WINBOTTM950 works very well in its purpose and cleans the glasses, in fact, rather, the glass on which you support it in a very short time of less than 3 minutes.

Use
Very easy and intuitive
the robotic begins the cycle and when it finishes:
Operation is automatic, but in some special conditions you can use the remote control to move the robot in the four directions above, below, right, and left. With the remote I noticed some uncertainty in returning to previous positions, but nothing substantial. It also cleans the corners.
If you forget the robot attached to the glass and you will stop the current, you will have 15 minutes to remove it, thanks to the internal backup battery.
What kind of dirt?
For my experience, I've cataloged the glasses like this:
A little dirty glasses: the classic glasses that have not been washed for a few weeks, which have some tiny dots and insects.
Just a homogeneous spray of liquid washer and 1 Winbot 950 cycle
Dirty glasses: not washed for at least a month and have both thin and small spots of dirt.
3 homogenous sprays of the washer fluid and one cycle of the Winbot 950. However, be careful not to wet the cloth too much, otherwise the robot will slip on the glass and may also lose adhesion.
Very dirty glasses: in work places, like workshops or near sidewalks, etc. or tall, where nobody has ever cleaned them.
Add at least 20% of white vinegar to the washer fluid and 2 cycles of the Winbot 950. After each cycle, wash the cloth well and wring it very well so that it is not excessively moist, otherwise the robot will slip on the glass and may even lose adherence.
Maintenance
Performance
Speed: washed a window of 124 x 45 mm then 6.39 square meters in 2'36 ".
Noise: here's my measure
distance 1 mt 69.5 dB
distance 2 mt 65.8 dB
distance 3 mt 64.5 dB
distance 4 mt 63.1 dB
Weight: Ecovacs declares 3.3 kg, but the robot only weighs 2.2 kg
Considerations
It cleans very well, and it's just not a wash in the classic sense, but rubs the cloth with the sprayed liquid by pressing it hard on the glass. So if the glass is particularly encrusted, the robotic can not do miracles.
Works on all double glazing and those with internal grinding.
I tried on the shower that was in glass and with some handshake I managed to get a good result.
The problem of the halos is partly due to the homogeneity of the liquid spraying on the microfiber cloth, partly to the liquid used and partly to the degree of dirt encountered. In my case, no problems and halos virtually invisible if not nonexistent.
Noise is quietly acceptable, though in absolute silence it can be a bit of a nuisance, but the cycle is so short that, in my opinion, the problem is not important.
I think I made a great purchase that I recommend, price permitting.
