Delta Shear® Accelerometers with excellent characteristics and low sensitivity to the external environment. Suitable for general measures of shock and vibration. Equivalent pairs with head or side attachment.

Accelerometers are electromechanical transducers that produce an electrical output proportional to the acceleration of the vibration to which they are subjected.

For operation on a wide dynamic and frequency range, the B & K types are made of piezo- and ferroelectric transducer elements and are of the compression and shear type, which gives them a low sensitivity to environmental factors.

Delta Shear® accelerometers are particularly insensitive to thermal transients.

Where the interchangeability and ease of calibration of the system is important, the unified gain B & K accelerometers (Uni-Gain®) can be used.

All B & K accelerometers have excellent stability over time, and each is delivered with the individual calibration card, including the frequency response curve.
