Bruel & Kjaer - 2607 Measuring Amplifier

LF amplification 2-200,000 Hz, input 3 mV to 300 V switchable in 11 steps.

Input for additional preamplifier (impedance converter / cathode follower) to use B + K condenser microphone capsules.

Bandpass switchable 22.5 Hz ... 22.5 kHz.

Switchable weighting filters A, B, C and D for sound level measurements.

Moving coil switch with switchable multi-display (linear, logarithmic, pulse, RMS, peak).

In addition to RMS, pulse and index lock measurements, it can measure positive and negative peak values, allowing measurements of very short signal durations; the rectifier response time is 20/LIS. The drop time is adjustable from 0, 1 to 300 s, thus allowing narrow-band noise measurements. 

The rectifier also has slow and fast instrument damping for sound level measurements. The instrument can be switched to linear or logarithmic readout, and allows rms reading of signals with a crest value up to 5. The output has 60 dB dynamics in RMS position, with crest factor 1.4. Dynamics 50 dB with crest factor 5 in peak position. Bandpass filter 1 61 7 is ideal for use with this amplifier. Model A , B or C.

When used with the 1617 Octave and Third Octave Filter, it allows the measurement of chaotic signals with measurement error control. The B T control is kept constant by an internal programme in the 1617. Model A, B or C.

The 2607 is ideal for use in combination with the 1618 Octave and third octave filter. Type A , B or C.
