Luciano Pavarotti (1935 - 2007) was among the most famous and technically prepared tenors of all time.
A clear voice and particularly endowed in the treble.
In the USA he he opened his great career in 1965 with Lucia di Lammermour in Miami, then in 1967 in San Francisco with La Boheme. The successes in these two interpretations paved the way for the great debut at the Metropolitan in New York in 1988 in La Boheme.
Perhaps the most famous concert can be considered the one in Hyde Park in London in 1991. It is estimated that it was seen by at least 250,000 people.
Subsequently, at Central Park in New York, Pavarotti performed one of his best performances, in front of 500,000 people.
Then, a history of successes until his death in 2007.
