Thrustmaster T150 Force Feedback
Thrustmaster T150 Force Feedback is an entry-level racing wheel with force feedback, designed to offer an accessible and satisfying driving experience.
Force Feedback Servomotor.
The T150 features a force feedback servomotor, providing a realistic simulation of road conditions and driving force. Despite being entry-level, it provides satisfying feedback for an immersive driving experience.
1080-Degree Rotation.
The wheel offers a maximum rotation of 1080 degrees, allowing for precise and detailed driving. This rotation range is ideal for racing games that require precise input.
Progressive Pedals.
The set includes progressive pedals for throttle and brake. The brake pedal requires increasing pressure, similar to a real car, enhancing the driving experience.
Construction Materials.
The T150 is constructed with adequate-quality materials, ensuring good durability over time and a sense of sturdiness.
Multi-Platform Compatibility.
The wheel is compatible with various platforms, including PlayStation systems and PC. It can be used with the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Programmable Buttons.
The wheel features programmable buttons and a D-pad that simplify navigation through in-game menus and in-game control.
Sound Feedback.
In addition to force feedback, the T150 offers sound feedback that allows you to hear the noise of the road and driving conditions, enhancing immersion.
Mounting Support.
You can mount the wheel on dedicated gaming stands or a custom racing cockpit for a stable driving experience.
Affordable Price.
The Thrustmaster T150 Force Feedback is known for being one of the most affordable force feedback wheels on the market, making it an ideal choice for beginners looking for a budget-friendly option.
Price: 190€ mid-range for steering wheels with feedback
Compatibility: Xbox One E PC. PS3 PS4
Content: Steering wheel and pedals.
The Firmware version appears at the top right of the Control Panel.
This model costs something less than the same Ferrari T150 model, but basically has the same features.
Premise:
On PC, the USB sliding switch on the T300 RS & T150 racing wheel’s base must always be set to the PS3 position!
Attaching the pedal set to a cockpit :
The construction of the whole set is rather plastic, both the steering wheel and the pedalboard, despite the not exactly cheap price, and the interior of the steering wheel is hollow so you feel you are handling not a real steering wheel, but the steering wheel of a game. The driving is not always very fluid, but you feel some roughness, partly compensated by feedback.
Unlike the pedalboard, there aren't many holes to attach to a desk or cockpit. There is a plastic clamp with only one hole, but it does the job.
The feedback system works very well, giving a sense of solidity that compensates for the feeling of driving with a light steering wheel. This is a feature of all Thrustmaster feedback steering wheels.
The steering wheel is equipped with levers and buttons in abundance to allow any manoeuvre in racing.
Interesting utility: there is a connector, at the base of the steering wheel, to insert a different gearbox.
Another important detail: the inclination of the pedals is adjustable.
My impression is that the cheapest part is the pedal board where the brake pedal has more tension than the accelerator, but both give the feeling of pedaling a toy. There is also a 3 pedal board, quite better, but it is an extra expensive accessory.
Conclusion
If you're thinking of spending a few hours on gaming, this T150 is recommended, but if you decide to spend more time on gaming, it's best to head for the Logitech G29 or Thrustmaster T300RS.
