Thrustmaster T150 PRO Force Feedback
The Thrustmaster T150 PRO Force Feedback is an entry-level racing wheel known for offering a good driving experience at an affordable price.
Force Feedback Servomotor.
The T150 PRO features a force feedback servomotor, providing a realistic simulation of driving force and road conditions. While it's entry-level, it still offers a reasonably satisfying feedback.
1080-Degree Rotation.
The wheel provides a maximum rotation of 1080 degrees, allowing for precise and detailed driving. This is particularly useful for racing games that require precise input.
Progressive Pedals.
The T150 PRO includes a set of progressive pedals with an accelerator pedal, brake pedal, and clutch pedal. The pedal progression simulates the response of a real car, enhancing the driving experience.
Construction Materials.
The wheel and pedals are constructed with decent-quality materials, ensuring good durability over time.
Multi-Platform Compatibility.
The T150 PRO is compatible with a variety of platforms, including PlayStation systems and PC. You can use it with the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Buttons and Dial.
The wheel features programmable buttons and a rotary dial that make navigating in-game menus and controlling the game easier.
Mounting Support.
You can mount the wheel on dedicated gaming stands or a custom racing cockpit for a stable driving experience.
Sound Feedback.
In addition to force feedback, the T150 PRO offers sound feedback that allows you to hear the noise of the road and driving conditions, enhancing immersion.
Affordable Price.
The Thrustmaster T150 PRO is known for being one of the most affordable force feedback racing wheels on the market, making it an ideal choice for beginners and driving enthusiasts looking for a budget-friendly solution.
Price: 230€ mid-range for steering wheels with feedback
Compatibility: Xbox One E PC. PS3 PS4
Content: Steering wheel and pedals.
The Firmware version appears at the top right of the Control Panel. Firmware: 11 is the latest version.
This model costs something more than the T150 Force feedback model, but basically has the same characteristics in the steering wheel. The pedalboard is different in that it is much better and has 3 pedals.
Premise:
On PC, the USB sliding switch on the T150 racing wheel’s base must always be set to the PS3 position!
Attaching the pedal set to a cockpit :
The construction of the whole set is rather plastic, both the steering wheel and the pedalboard, despite the not exactly cheap price, and the interior of the steering wheel is hollow so you feel you are handling not a real steering wheel, but the steering wheel of a game. The driving is not always very fluid, but you feel some roughness, partly compensated by feedback.
Unlike the pedalboard, there aren't many holes to attach to a desk or cockpit. There is a plastic clamp with only one hole, but it does the job.
The feedback system works very well, giving a sense of solidity that compensates for the feeling of driving with a light steering wheel. This is a feature of all Thrustmaster feedback steering wheels.
The steering wheel is equipped with levers and buttons in abundance to allow any manoeuvre in racing.
Interesting utility: there is a connector, at the base of the steering wheel, to insert a different gearbox.
Another important detail: the inclination of the pedals is adjustable.
My impression is that the most interesting part is the pedalboard with 3 pedals all with a more realistic tension than the two similar versions Thrustmaster T150 Ferrari Wheel Force Feedback and Thrustmaster T150 Force Feedback.
Conclusion
If you're thinking of spending a few hours on gaming, this T150 is recommended, but if you decide to spend more time on gaming, it's best to head for the Logitech G29 or Thrustmaster T300RS.
