Ginetta G55 GT4 on track

The first version V.1.7 of this car dates back to 2017

The file version 2.0 contains 42 cars

The file ginetta_gta_lhd contains 21 left-hand drive cars

The file ginetta_gta_rhd contains 21 right-hand drive cars

42 cars

This car is quite easy to drive and in the hands of an experienced driver can give great satisfaction.

Skins

As many as 21 skins, all of which have a complexity of excellently designed details.

Driving impressions

As I said before, it is an easy car with no problems in driving, fast and stable. There is a little oversteer that does not bother you at all, but above all there is not a major oversteer in braking as happens in many cars.  The driving is smooth for a competition car and the grip is remarkable. For those who are used to gritty GT3 cars that are a bit difficult for beginners to drive, this car is the ideal driving and practice solution.

Brakes

There is no need to change the braking power values in the setup because the braking is soft and adapts to the speed. In other cars, abrupt braking at high speed leads to the car skidding.

Interesting the way you can left foot brake: it seems as a sort of traction control. When braking there is a clear feeling that the back of the car will lighten and, for those who have a simulation hardware platform, you will feel the chair slide for traction loss.

The rear brake calipers are mounted behind the rear axle

Car interiors

Well designed, the work has been done well, with care and precision, but I must say that the inner part of the simulated cars, even in the best like this, always leaves something to be desired. We expect a reality that is difficult to find for two fundamental reasons. A very accurate design would weigh too much on the total model so the car could cause some problems of slow performance on not very fast computers. The other reason concerns the time and obviously the cost of drawing: the more details there are, the more hours it takes to draw accurately. Therefore, even if I agree on the fact that a dashboard more adherent to the reality valorizes the simulator and increases the reality and the fun, I must admit that we must content ourselves and turn the attention more to the external part.

However, there are also some nice things, for example looking at the windscreen from the inside on a dusty track. Great job!

and it is not necessary, at least in my opinion, to adjust the view.

Conclusion

Among the best cars tested so far. Unfortunately, Shaun Clarke is no longer with us.
