  • rss_gtm_lanzo_v10 which includes 8 Lanzo (Lamborghini) type cars with different skins.
  • rss_gtm_bayro_6 file contains 7 GT-M Bayro 6 V8 cars with different skins:

To get the 4K skins, if you have a very fast computer, you can download the 4k_high_resolution_pack_rss_bayro_6_v8.rar  file from the RSS site.

If you want to try your hand at drawing skins in Photoshop or GIMP, you'll be spoilt for choice on the RSS website.

In reality this car is the 2019 model BMW M6 GT3/GTD, but due to probably copyright issues it was given the fictional name of Bayro.

Driving impressions

The car is quite challenging, not difficult to drive, but you need some skill to deal with the curves over 180 km / h and is very responsive to curbs but especially to the dirt where even modest pressure on the accelerator produces the tailspin. I found a little slowness in shifting from first gear to neutral and then in reverse.

For an experienced driver it is very stable, for a beginner not so much. In fact, on this car you have to do many kilometers and many curves to be able to drive it in difficult circuits and achieve good times.

The default setup needs to be modified for the dampers also excellent. It depends on the circuit.

Brakes

Excellent. Braking is powerful and progressive, rather hard, but effective whether you press abruptly (obviously not in a curve) or push gradually but firmly. The braking effect is also supported by a very realistic sound of which I will speak later. You can hear the pressure of the brake calipers and the overheating of the metal. All very well done. You seem to hear the flow of air forced from the front ducts and into the brakes. It must be remembered that, in reality, the brakes of the M6 are very large and have allowed this car to overtake two or three cars at Daytona.

Car interiors

Well designed, the work has been done well, with care and precision, but I must say that the inner part of the simulated cars, even in the best like this, always leaves something to be desired. We expect a reality that is difficult to find for two fundamental reasons. A very accurate design would weigh too much on the total model so the car could cause some problems of slow performance on not very fast computers. The other reason concerns the time and obviously the cost of drawing: the more details there are, the more hours it takes to draw accurately. Therefore, even if I agree on the fact that a dashboard more adherent to the reality valorizes the simulator and increases the reality and the fun, I must admit that we must content ourselves and turn the attention more to the external part.

The navigator is interesting and very useful, but graphically it leaves something to be desired.

A little better dashboard, but still far from what I would like to see.

FOV

It may be a little quirk of mine, but just as I've never found a satisfactorily designed car interior, cars that have a view that is strictly adherent to reality are rare.

Again, the FOV needs to be adjusted as best as possible, but until someone invents a panoramic view that simultaneously widens and narrows both front and side, the view is a bit fictitious. But, as I said before, the external part is excellent and is the part that we will see in the replays, so the most important. This car is also no exception, in my opinion. Yet the interior is designed well. But I don't like it, as I don't like it in other cars: it looks like a drawing and not a 3D reproduction of reality. Only the gloves are acceptable.

Sound

This is one of the best parts of this car.

At the start you can distinguish the whistle of the turbo different under acceleration and braking that is not confused with the noise of the engine.  Pay attention to the dull sound when the car leaves the track and drives down the dirt road, the gravel trap or the rumblestrip, penetrating noises when it drives down the escape route or goes over a curb. Crashing sound when it hits the wall and so on. Great job.

Conclusions

A car that is definitely worth more than the money it costs and one of the best cars for the money. RSS updates its products periodically. It just takes a little practice to get great results.
