R8 LMS V10 was born in 2015 after previous experience in GT3 of the R8 in 2009 and with the R8 LMS Plus in 2012.

Aluminum alloy frame, Carbon Fiber Renforced Plastic (CFRP) reinforcements and steel cage.

A total of 130 units were sold.
