It's obviously not free, but still the purchase of original Windows 10 (used) will cost you much, but much less than original Windows 10 (new) and we're not talking about the sale of just the code for a few euros that, over time, can be deleted by Microsoft due to too many installations. We are talking about the original license.

But the licenses were not saleable to third parties. What happened again?

Let's start with a ruling by the European Court of Justice on July 3, 2012, c-128/11. This innovative and revolutionary ruling establishes the right to resell a used product, in this case also software licenses. I don't want to dwell on it and you can read the article directly HERE.

So, in the wake of this and other subsequent rulings, companies have sprung up to buy regular licenses from companies that either move to the cloud or to an annual subscription service and, no longer using the licenses, can sell them.

Generally, it is recommended to download the version of Windows that you have purchased directly from the Microsoft website and allocate it on a flash drive. I recommend to allocate it on a DVD because there are different types of flash drives (2.0, 3.0) with different construction characteristics. You may have problems rebooting, especially if you need to update an existing Windows. There are few problems if the Windows installation is new and clean. No problems with DVDs.
