Corn germ oil is a natural product, a by-product of corn processing, which is obtained through an industrial process from corn germ and has a high fat content (35-47%) and protein.

It is also rich in various nutritional compositions, such as vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids (1).

The industrial process includes an extraction stage, an evaporation stage and negative pressure as well as the kerosene recycling process. The equipment that is in accordance with the latest relevant legislation has a high level of safety, advanced technology, interlock control, low oil residue.

Corn germ oil is used by food industry and cosmetic industry.

In cooking it has demonstrated a high smoke point in frying, so with excellent prerogatives. I remember however that the best and healthiest oils for frying are olive oil and sunflower oil. From the economic point of view is less expensive than other vegetable oils 

In cosmetics it is used as an emollient to make creams more pleasant in appearance and smoothness.

Other industrial uses of corn oil include soaps, ointments, paints, rubbers, anti-rust for metal surfaces, inks, fabrics, nitroglycerin and insecticides, as a carrier for molecules in pharmaceutical preparations and as a carrier for drug molecules in pharmaceutical preparations.
