Aulmann W, Pittermann W, Bartnik F, Sterzel W, Kästner W, Potokar M. Developmental toxicity of 2-ethylhexyl stearate. Food Chem Toxicol. 2000 Jan;38(1):57-63. doi: 10.1016/s0278-6915(99)00124-6.
Abstract. 2-Ethylhexyl stearate was investigated in an embryo-/foetotoxicity and teratogenicity study on rats according to OECD guidelines for the testing of chemicals (No. 414).
Gawas SD, Rathod VK. Ultrasound Assisted Green Synthesis of 2-Ethylhexyl Stearate: A Cosmetic Bio-lubricant. J Oleo Sci. 2020 Sep 2;69(9):1043-1049. doi: 10.5650/jos.ess19322.
Abstract. For the first time, the ultrasound supported enzymatic synthesis of a bio-lubricant 2-ethylhexyl stearate using Fermase as a catalyst was studied. The optimization of numerous parameters like acid to alcohol molar ratio, temperature, enzyme loading, duty cycle, ultrasound power, and frequency was completed effectively.
Smistad G, Waaler T, Roksvaag PO, Midtsem M. The influence of mono(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate and stearates on the migration in soft polyvinyl chloride infusion fluid bags. Acta Pharm Nord. 1989;1(6):321-6.
Abstract. The influence of mono(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (MEHP) and stearates on the migration of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and epoxidized vegetable oils (EVO) in soft polyvinyl chloride infusion fluid bags during agitation has been investigated by gas-liquid chromatography. Normal saline, isotonic glucose and Ringer acetate from 3 different manufacturers were investigated.

Frelichowska, J., Bolzinger, M. A., & Chevalier, Y. (2010). Effects of solid particle content on properties of o/w Pickering emulsions. Journal of colloid and interface science, 351(2), 348-356.
Abstract. The control of droplet size and stability of oil-in-water Pickering emulsions stabilized by hydrophobized fumed silica was investigated.
Vaselnia, S. Y., Khajeh Aminian, M., & Dehghan Banadaki, R. (2018). Synthesis of Fe-doped titanite and quasi-titanite structures and studying the effect of doping on physical and optical properties. Progress in Color, Colorants and Coating (PCCC), 11(4), 221-231.
Abstract. Fe-doped titanite (TiCaSiO5) and quasi-titanite (Ti0.5CaSi1.5O5) compositions were synthesized by the ceramic method. For each structure, two samples with 0.1 mol% and 0.2 mol% Fe were used. The synthesized samples were homogenized using a planetary ball mill in 2-ethylhexyl stearate solvent and then printed on the ceramic with screen printing system.

Abstract. The study focuses on the impact of structural and physicochemical properties of emollients on their spreadability. Fifty-three emollients, among which esters, silicones, vegetable and mineral oils, have been characterized. Their viscosity, surface tension, density and spreadability have been measured.

Abstract. In this work, we show that it is possible to take profit of the presence of free fatty acids in the starting materials used for biodiesel production (i.e. reused oils) by synthesizing additives able to improve cold flow properties.
