Hlaoperm C, Choowongkomon K, Pruksakorn C, Rattanasrisomporn J. Development of an easy-to-use urease kit for detecting Helicobacter pylori in canine gastric mucosa. Vet World. 2021 Jul;14(7):1977-1987. doi: 10.14202/vetworld.2021.

Abstract. Helicobacter pylori is an important pathogen in humans and animals involved in chronic gastritis, leading to the development of gastric cancer. Urease produced by H. pylori is an enzyme that promotes bacterial colonization and can be used clinically as a biomarker of H. pylori infection as part of a rapid urease test (RUT). A test with high specificity (95-100%) would be more convenient and faster than histopathology, bacterial culture, and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The aim of this study was to develop a simple, cheap, and fast kit for detecting H. pylori infection in the gastric mucosa of canines, which can be used in clinical practice for diagnosing infection with this bacterium.

Kim DH, Lee KC, Han SY. Cyclosporin A Aggravates Calcification of Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells Under High-Glucose Conditions with a Calcifying Medium. Ann Transplant. 2018 Feb 13;23:112-118. doi: 10.12659/aot.908168.

Abstract. Vascular calcification (VC) progresses substantially even after kidney transplantation, and is a predictor of morbidity and mortality. However, the effect of cyclosporin A (CsA) on VC has not been reported in diabetic kidney transplant patients. In this study, we evaluated the effect of CsA on the VC of mouse vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) under high glucose (HG)....Calcification was observed 14 days after exposure to a calcifying medium (sodium phosphate monobasic and dibasic mixture)...

Aliabadi HM, Romanick M, Desai S, Lavasanifar A. Effect of buffer and antioxidant on stability of a mercaptopurine suspension. Am J Health Syst Pharm. 2008 Mar 1;65(5):441-7. doi: 10.2146/ajhp070325.

Abstract. Three additional formulations were prepared by adding an antioxidant (ascorbic acid 10 mg), a buffer (sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate 500 mg), and a combination of antioxidant and buffer to the reference formulation. ...

Idink, M. J., & Grünberg, W. (2015). Enteral administration of monosodium phosphate, monopotassium phosphate and monocalcium phosphate for the treatment of hypophosphataemia in lactating dairy cattle. Veterinary Record, 176(19), 494-494.

Abstract.  Objectives of this study were to compare the efficacy of monopotassium phosphate (KH2 PO4) and monocalcium phosphate (Ca(H2 PO4)2) to monosodium phosphate (NaH2 PO4) in P-depleted cows.

Ewoti, O. V. N., Nola, M., Moungang, L. M., Nougang, M. E., Krier, F., & Chihib, N. E. (2011). Adhesion of Escherichia coli and" Pseudomonas aeruginosa" on Rock Surface in Aquatic Microcosm: Assessment of the Influence of Dissolved Magnesium Sulfate and Monosodium Phosphate. Research Journal of Environmental and Earth Sciences, 3(4), 364-374.

Abstract. This study aims at assessing the aquatic microcosm conditions, the influence of MgSO_4 and NaH_2PO_4 on the adhesion of "P. aeruginosa" and "E. coli" on the basalt, micaschist, granite and sandstone fragments during 180 to 1440 min. Results showed that in the presence of MgSO_4 at concentrations of 0.02, 0.04, 0.06 and 0.08 mol/L the abundances of "P. aeruginosa"...

Mendoza, J., Legido, J., Rubio, S., & Gisbert, J. P. (2007). Systematic review: the adverse effects of sodium phosphate enema. Alimentary pharmacology & therapeutics, 26(1), 9-20.

Abstract. A systematic review of the literature was conducted to identify the most common adverse effects of sodium-phosphate enemas and associated risk factors...
