Review BIOKAP Shampoo purificante 200 ml

What it is used for:

Ingredients:

Let us examine the most significant ingredients in order of quantity as indicated on the label. I provide a brief summary for reasons of space. For the full text, studies and bibliography, just click on the ingredient and, if you want to go deeper, it is perhaps a little complex reading because these are scientific studies, but it clarifies the ingredient/health relationship.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice or Aloe Vera is one of the 400 or more species of Aloe. It is a cactus, a slow-growing perennial succulent plant that belongs to the Aloeaceae family. It has demonstrated abilities to improve epithelialisation and granulation tissue of wounds, significantly increase skin elasticity index levels and collagen levels.

Zinc coco-sulfate sulphate surfactant. Discreet product with cleaning action.

Cocamidopropyl betaine is the second surfactant and is placed in the fifth position on the label, thus in not too large an amount. It is of synthetic origin and is used in cosmetics and body cleansers with an antimicrobial and foaming function. It softens hair and reduces static electricity in conditioners. Thickener in personal care products and detergents. Improves conditioning functions of other surfactants, performs well against water hardness, is antistatic and biodegradable. Good compatibility with other amphoteric surfactants and cationic, anionic, non-ionic surfactants. However, it is considered a possible allergen in the scientific literature.

Eucalyptus globulus leaf extract is the extract of the dried leaves of the Eucalyptus tree. Used by traditional medical science for a range of common ailments and now commonly available over-the-counter (OTC) in ointments, drops, mouthwashes, suffumes and balms. Incorporated into cosmetic products as a fragrance. Applied locally it demonstrates an analgesic effect and suppresses local allergic inflammation.

Zinc PCA is used in anti-acne creams and as an astringent and anti-dandruff agent in hair lotions.

Conclusions

Excellent product, the only risky ingredient is Cocamidopropyl betaine, which is present in no significant quantity. I would say that if you are not allergic to this ingredient, there is no reason not to repurchase this product. Not exaggerated fragrance, good lather, cleanses well without exaggeration.
