Industrial Chemical Synthesis of Polypentene

• Preparation. The mixture is prepared by combining isoprene in a polymerization reactor.
• Polymerization. Isoprene is polymerized, often in the presence of a catalyst, to form polyisoprene.
• Hydrogenation.Polyisoprene is exposed to hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst. This process hydrogenates the double bonds in the polymer, transforming it into polypentene.
• Cooling and Recovery. After hydrogenation, the polymer is cooled and recovered from the reactor.
• Purification and Modification. The polymer can be further purified and modified to achieve desired properties, such as strength or flexibility.

Film-forming agent. It produces a continuous ultra-thin film with an optimal balance of cohesion, adhesion and stickiness on the skin or hair to counteract or limit damage from external phenomena such as chemicals, UV rays and pollution.
