Soybean and palm oil is a mixture of two oils with different health characteristics:

  •     palm oil has a high content of saturated fat and palmitic acid.
  •     soybean oil is rich in polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids

It is a rather questionable combination that does not convince. Will soya oil be able to mitigate the saturated fats of palm oil? Seems not.

Palm Oil

Palm oil is extracted from the fruit pulp of the oil palm. It is known for its high saturated fat content and red color, due to carotenoids. Used in both the food and cosmetic industries, palm oil is versatile and stable at high temperatures, making it suitable for frying and the production of packaged products.
