Potassium adipate is a chemical compound, potassium salt of adipic acid obtained by a synthesis process with potassium hydroxide.
It appears as a whitish crystalline powder.

Food
Ingredient listed in the European food additives list as E357, acidity regulator.
Other uses
Adsorption and surface modification of anionic resin. Mainly used to improve the low-temperature behaviour of plastic production and can be used alone as the main plasticiser, or combined with phthalates.
