Andorra, officially Principality of Andorra, is a small sovereign country located in the Pyrenees between France and Spain. It is one of the smallest states in Europe, covering an area of just 468 km². The capital is Andorra la Vella. Andorra is known for its mountains and as a destination for winter sports, particularly skiing. Andorran culture is strongly influenced by its neighbors, France and Spain, and the official language is Catalan.
