Cuba
Cuba is an island located in the Caribbean, the largest in the Caribbean archipelago. It is famous for its revolutionary history, vibrant music, and white sandy beaches. The capital, Havana, is known for its well-preserved colonial architecture and classic American cars. Cuban culture is a rich mix of African, Spanish, and indigenous influences, evident in the music (such as son cubano and salsa), dance, and cuisine. Cuba has a state-planned economy, with key sectors including tourism, agriculture (particularly tobacco and sugar), and biotechnology. The country is known for its high-quality cigars and its healthcare system, one of the most advanced among developing countries. Cuba played a significant role in world politics during the Cold War, particularly during the 1962 Missile Crisis. Despite economic challenges and the long-standing U.S. embargo, Cuba remains a country with a strong cultural identity and a strong sense of community.
