Fiji
Fiji, officially the Republic of Fiji, is an archipelago located in the southern Pacific Ocean in Oceania. Comprising over 300 islands, about a third of which are inhabited, the country is known for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, and richly biodiverse marine ecosystems. The capital is Suva, located on the island of Viti Levu, one of the country's two main islands. Fiji has a rich and diverse culture, influenced by indigenous Melanesian and Polynesian populations, as well as communities of Indian, Chinese, and European descent. Tourism is a key sector of Fiji's economy, along with agriculture, particularly the production of sugar and copra. The country is also known for its commitment to environmental conservation and combating climate change, being one of the island nations most vulnerable to the impacts of global warming.
