Oceania
Oceania is a geographic region consisting of numerous countries and territories located in and around the Pacific Ocean. It includes Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, as well as the islands of the southwestern, southeastern, and central Pacific. These islands are grouped into three main subregions: Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia. Oceania is known for its cultural and biological diversity, with a wide range of languages, traditions, and unique animal and plant species. The region features varied landscapes, ranging from the vast desert areas of Australia to the lush rainforests and idyllic beaches of the Pacific islands. The population of Oceania is approximately 42 million people, with Australia and New Zealand hosting the majority of the inhabitants.
