My opinion. Since "2001. A Space Odyssey", there had not been a top-notch science fiction film. This film is top notch perhaps even for those who do not like the genre. The plot itself is only a cue to a succession of situations, thrills and spectacle.
The actors are all and I mean all, including the supporting actors, very good, natural. Especially the main character.
The direction very attentive to every detail, leaves nothing to chance, is meticulous in every situation.
The soundtrack, which won an Oscar, will remain in film history for a long time.
Spectacular photography and incredible special effects.
Any comment would turn out to be trivial. A word of advice: see it !
