Plot
The film's protagonist is Joseph Turner (played by Robert Redford), a CIA analyst who works in an isolated building in New York. His job is to read novels and literary texts to look for possible encrypted messages or hidden clues that could be useful to the agency.
One day, while Turner is out of the office for lunch, all of his colleagues are brutally murdered. When he returns to the office and discovers the horrific massacre, Turner suddenly becomes a target and finds himself in a desperate flight for his life.
