Palm kernel oil is an oil extracted from the African palm Elaeis guineensis seeds and widely used in neonatal cosmetics for skin care.

It is a good emollient with a beneficial effect of skin hydration.

Different speech if this oil is ingested.: palm kernel oil has a high content of saturated fatty acids of about 80% which include : Lauric acid (48.7%), Myristic acid (15.6%), Palmitic acid (7.5%), Stearic acid (1.8%) and other saturated fats.
