In the multitude of Mods for Assetto Corsa, Sol (Peter Boer) is among the most downloaded and constantly updated. In particular, Sol has a very interesting cloud management and, of course, a long list of weather changes ranging from fog to clear skies, rain, etc..
The zipped installation file weighs a good 240 Mb and, after downloading it, just move it to Content Manager (page with Drive highlighted) with a drag and drop. Content Manager will take care of inserting the folders and files where they belong.
Once installed you can find all its effects in Content Manager:
Hard to say which one is the best. At the moment there are 32
Let's see them at 8 a.m.
No Clouds (Sol) - Clear sky, no clouds, optimal visibility
Clear (Sol) - Clear skies, some light very high clouds, excellent visibility.
Weather: 0 octave cloud cover. That is, skies totally or nearly clear of clouds. Sky conditions with less than 1/10th cloud cover.
Few clouds (Sol) - Clear skies, few scattered clouds, excellent visibility.
Weather: Fine weather prevailing, with generally clear skies or with few scattered clouds. Some temporary increase in cloudiness.
Scattered clouds (Sol) - Clear skies, lots of scattered clouds, excellent visibility.
Weather: A cloud layer that covers between 3/8ths and 1/2 of the sky.

Weather: Sky condition when more than 9/10 of the sky is covered by clouds. Dull, gray skies with extensive cloud cover.
Mist (Sol) - Overcast skies, haze, good visibility.
Weather: Consists of microscopic water droplets suspended in the air, producing a thin grayish veil over the landscape. Reduces visibility to a lesser extent than fog, but visibility remains more than a mile.
Fog (Sol) - The sky is indistinguishable, fog and reduced visibility.at less than 1 km.
Weather: Condensed water in the form of a dense mass , at ground level, with a cloud of very small droplets reducing visibility to less than one km (three thousand and three hundred feet).
Haze (Sol) - Clear skies, lots of scattered clouds, excellent visibility, but slightly dusty environment. Good visibility.
Weather: Fine particles of dust and pollution suspended in the atmosphere that reduce visibility and can be distinguished from haze by its bluish or yellowish hue.
Dust (Sol) - Grey sky, dusty environment, good visibility
Weather: Windblown dust at moderate heights above ground and visibility decreases to less than seven miles.
Sand (Sol) - Yellow sky, slightly sandy environment, fair visibility
Weather: Sand particles carried by the wind. Sand particles are mostly confined at the bottom.
Smoke (Sol) - Dark sky, smoky environment, reduced visibility.
Weather: A suspension in the air of small particles produced by combustion or pollution that limit visibility.
Light drizzle (Sol) - Partially overcast and dark skies with light drizzle. Fair visibility.
Weather: Humid day, not particularly cold, but with occasional light drizzle.
Drizzle (Sol) - Overcast and leaden skies, drizzle, reduced visibility.

Heavy drizzle (Sol) - Overcast and very dark skies, persistent drizzle, reduced visibility.
Weather: Small drops of water falling quickly, with diameters between .2 and .5 millimeters. Fairly uniform precipitation consisting exclusively of very small water droplets very close together.
Light rain (Sol) - Overcast sky, light rain, reduced visibility.
Weather: Light rain is light precipitation covering a large area and commonly coming from stratocumulus. These rains are shorter in duration, cover a small area and are fast. At least 0.1 mm/h
Rain (Sol) - Completely overcast and dark skies, rain, reduced visibility, cars raising a trail of water.
Weather: Liquid water droplets falling from the atmosphere, larger in diameter than light rain (0.5 mm). 0.5-1 mm/h
Heavy rain (Sol) - Completely overcast and very dark skies, heavy, heavy rain, poor visibility, cars lifting an intense trail of water.
Weather: Precipitation rate is > 7.6 mm (0.30 in) per hour with values ranging from 10 mm (0.39 in) to 50 mm (2.0 in) per hour.
Light thunderstorm (Sol) - Completely overcast and dark skies, heavy, driving rain, some thunder and lightning,, poor visibility, cars raising a trail of water.
Weather: A short-lived weather disturbance with occasional thunder and lightning produced by a cumulonimbus cloud usually associated with winds and heavy rain.
Thunderstorm (Sol) - Completely overcast and very dark skies, heavy, driving rain, thunder and lightning, poor visibility, cars raising an intense trail of water.
Weather: A weather disturbance with thunder and lightning produced by a cumulonimbus cloud usually associated with winds and heavy rain.
Heavy thunderstorm (Sol) - Completely overcast and dark skies with low, black clouds, very heavy rain , lots of thunder and lightning, poor visibility, cars raising an intense trail of water.
Weather: Violent weather disturbance producing winds of 58 mph and up,heavy rain and/or hail three-quarters of an inch or more. Very dark low-level clouds.
Squalls (Sol) - Very cloudy and almost completely overcast skies, but sudden strong wind although short-lived. Visibility good.
Weather: A strong wind characterized by a sudden onset in which the wind speed increases at least 16 knots and is sustained at 22 knots or more for at least one minute or sudden increase of the mean wind speed which lasts for several minutes at least before the mean wind returns to near its previous value.
Tornado (Sol) - Skies completely covered with black clouds, occasional thunder and lightning, very violent rotating wind, reduced visibility.

Conclusions.
At the moment the most complete and quality weather mod for Assetto Corsa, the effects are very realistic.
Rain, Hail, Thunderstorm and other effects related to rain and visually important weather events, while being very nice looking, do not have sounds which greatly reduces the fun, but most importantly the realism. Sounds are available with Patreon subscription on Ilja Usupov's site.
The rain is perfectly visible on the windshield, but outside the cockpit you can't see it and you can't even see it on the asphalt and same situation for snow, at the moment. Maybe in a future release.
In tight turns in the rain you can hear the tires whistle, which is pretty improbable on wet asphalt.
For less fast computers, I recommend version 1.5. to get an acceptable fps (frames per second) and avoid jerking in the view.
Apart from these inconveniences, of which it was necessary to warn, but which will surely be corrected in future versions, is a fantastic free mod that I recommend to everyone.
