This car differs from the commercial version by a good 70%.
Unified construction. Single composite side panels. Welded T45 steel safety cage. Aerodynamic rear wing. Unique front "bumper" treatment. Full Cosworth chassis and engine data acquisition for diagnostics and performance development.
On the SR WRC, compared to the standard Fiesta, the engine is angled towards the cockpit by 20° and set back by 25cm.
- Ford EcoBoost 1600cc direct injection engine developed by Ford, M-Sport and Pipo Moteurs.
- Garrett turbocharger (with FIA required 33mm intake restrictor) with 36mm flange. Air intercooler.

Suspension: MacPherson struts with Reiger external dampers, adjustable in shock and rebound. Fully adjustable steel links. Front and rear anti-roll bars. Machined aluminum struts.
Braking system. For off-road driving we fit 300mm Brembo ventilated discs with Brembo four-piston monoblock calipers. For asphalt driving we fit (front and rear): 355mm Brembo ventilated discs (maximum) with Brembo four-piston monobloc calipers. Hydraulic handbrake
Drive system. High ratio (12:1) rack and pinion.
