Guo, R. Y., An, Z. M., Mo, L. P., Yang, S. T., Liu, H. X., Wang, S. X., & Zhang, Z. H. (2013). Meglumine promoted one-pot, four-component synthesis of pyranopyrazole derivatives. Tetrahedron, 69(47), 9931-9938.
Abstract. Meglumine, a bio-based chemical, was demonstrated to be a highly efficient and reusable catalyst for the synthesis of a series of pyranopyrazole derivatives via a one-pot, four-component reaction of carbonyl compound or isatin, hydrazine hydrate, malononitrile, and β-keto ester in EtOH–H2O.

Meglumine-based supra-amphiphile self-assembled in water as a skin drug delivery system: Influence of unfrozen bound water in the system bioadhesiveness. Colloids Surf B Biointerfaces. 2019 Dec 1;184:110523. doi: 10.1016/j.colsurfb.2019.110523.
Abstract. This work shows that a better understanding of the physicochemical properties of a drug delivery system is extremely important for the correlation with the desired biological response and, thus, improve the product performance for biomedical applications.
Guo, R. Y., An, Z. M., Mo, L. P., Wang, R. Z., Liu, H. X., Wang, S. X., & Zhang, Z. H. (2013). Meglumine: a novel and efficient catalyst for one-pot, three-component combinatorial synthesis of functionalized 2-amino-4 H-pyrans. ACS Combinatorial Science, 15(11), 557-563.
Abstract. An efficient one-pot synthesis of functionalized 2-amino-4H-pyrans by a meglumine-catalyzed three-component reaction has been developed.
Li, X. T., Zhao, A. D., Mo, L. P., & Zhang, Z. H. (2014). Meglumine catalyzed expeditious four-component domino protocol for synthesis of pyrazolopyranopyrimidines in aqueous medium. RSC Advances, 4(93), 51580-51588.
Abstract. A facile and highly efficient protocol for the one-pot, four-component reaction of ethyl acetoacetate, hydrazine hydrate, aromatic aldehydes and barbituric acid has been developed using meglumine as an inexpensive, biodegradable and reusable catalyst. This methodology provides a mild and fast route to structurally diverse tricyclic fused pyrazolopyranopyrimidines in good to excellent yields.

Abstract. We conducted a quasi-experimental study to compare the response to meglumine antimoniate in patients with localized cutaneous leishmaniasis from two endemic areas of Brazil that were infected by two Leishmania species.
