Ingredients
Let us examine the most significant ingredients in order of quantity as indicated on the label. I provide a brief summary for reasons of space. For the full text, studies and bibliography, just click on the ingredient and, if you want to go deeper, it is perhaps a little complex reading because these are scientific studies, but it clarifies the ingredient/health relationship.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice is a leaf extract of the Aloe Vera, a cactus, a slow-growing perennial succulent plant. It contains antioxidant vitamins (A, C, E, B12), niacin, riboflavin and folic acid, and many studies have found its ability to improve skin epithelialisation and significantly increase skin elasticity index and collagen levels.
Glycerin .is a humectant agent incorporated in the formula with the aim of moisturising and softening the skin, preserving it from ageing or roughness
Panthenol derived directly from Vitamin B5 or Pantothenic Acid, has favourable and lasting effects on barrier function and repair as well as on skin hydration without negatively influencing bacterial viability in the skin microflora. The presence of panthenol in a semi-solid oil/water and water/oil formulation significantly improves skin barrier repair.
Sodium levulinate It is used in cosmetic formulations as a preservative and skin-conditioning agent.
Faex Extract/Yeast extract is a natural ingredient, a complex mixture of yeast extracts that contain peptides, amino acids, vitamins (often vitamin B1 thiamine and B vitamins) that have the function of moisturising and reactivating the skin.
Xanthan Gum a non-starch polysaccharide obtained by microbial fermentation of carbohydrates by the bacterium Xanthomonas campestris, thickener or rheology modifier to stabilise the emulsion. As a humectant, it improves the water absorption of the skin by moisturising and lubricating.
Sodium anisate is a chemical compound obtained from the extraction of aniseed (p-anisic acid), an antimicrobial that is included in cosmetic formulations to reduce the bacterial load on the skin and unpleasant odours of the product in which it is inserted.
Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate is a microorganism obtained by fermentation of the radish root and has been patented in the USA in the field of topical compositions and methods for treating and improving keratinous surfaces. Potential source of peptides with antimicrobial activity.
Lactic Acid To maintain the pH value between 4 and 5 and as a wetting agent. Lactic acid is an organic acid that is part of the alpha-hydroxy acids recently used as surface peeling agents. It has been shown to improve facial wrinkles and is used as a filler for those who do not want to undergo cosmetic surgery.
Conclusions
Excellent product containing ingredients of natural origin and synthetic products aimed at achieving the anti-ageing purpose stated on the label. This cream can be applied to Face, Eyes, Mobile Eyelid, Lips, Neck and Décolleté. No contraindications of intolerance or allergy have emerged from the studies carried out on all ingredients, without prejudice to possible personal sensitivity. A number of very recent ingredients have been included in the formulation and the manufacturer's effort to provide a product without preservatives (such as Phenoxyethanol or Parabens, which are still found in many cosmetic products) replaced by decidedly more natural ingredients is evident. On https://bakel.it/ the 10 ingredients are listed with function and origin (B= Biotechnological origin, W= Demineralised and sterilised water, V= Vegetable origin, S= Synthesis) which shows the manufacturer's commitment to providing clear information to the consumer.

The packaging reflects the price, and the dispenser is particularly high-performing: the spout is millimetre-sized, the dispensing button is smooth and soft, which prevents unwanted spillage of the precious gel.
The only downside is the decidedly high cost, which is certainly not affordable for everyone, but which reflects the value of some recent key ingredients. Made in Italy.
