Betula alba leaf extract is the extract of the dried leaves of the plant Betula alba L. , the common birch belonging to the Betulaceae family, native to Eurasian regions.

It appears in the form of a brown or whitish powder, soluble in chloroform, ethanol, ether, and benzene, slightly soluble in cold water, petroleum ether and other organic solvents.
