Surfactant - Emulsifying agent. Emulsions are thermodynamically unstable. Octyldodeceth-25 can be used as a solubilising agent, enabling the incorporation of oil-soluble ingredients into water-based formulations. This property is particularly advantageous for products such as lotions, creams and serums, where it helps to evenly disperse hydrophobic substances throughout the product.
